Voters' education to volunteers starts

DHADING, April 13: The District Election Office, Dhading has started imparting voters' education to activists and volunteers targeting the upcoming local level election scheduled for May 14.

DHADING, April 13: The District Election Office, Dhading has started imparting voters' education to activists and volunteers targeting the upcoming local level election scheduled for May 14. 


The Election Office has shared the information that the preparation required for election has come to the final stage.

According to the office, the polling centres have been fixed after reviewing all potential sites across the district and its updates were already sent to the Election Commission. 


Besides other preparatory works, the District Election Office has also started imparting voters' education to volunteers on how to cast votes. 


There are 130,144 male voters, 206,002 female voters and a voter from third gender in Dhading district. There are 109 polling booths and 265 polling centres in the district. 


Sixteen political parties are in election race in the district. Total 574 people representatives would be elected from the district according to the new structure. RSS
