KARNALI, Jan 10: Preparations for the 10th National Games are underway, with the government attaching top priority to the event.
According to member-secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanka Lal Ghising, the preparations for the 10th National Games are underway as per the 118th meeting of the Council. The 10th National Games are scheduled to take place in Surkhet from April 5.

During an onsite visit of the Karnali Province Stadium, Ghising lauded the activities being carried out by the Karnali province government for the construction of infrastructures.
Out of the 36 games included in the National Games, 24 will be organized in Karnali Province, said Ghising.
Similarly, Social Development Minister of Karnali province, Ghanshyam Bhandari, said they have been carrying out activities in order to organise the 10th National Games on time.
