KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Rabi Lamichhane, the former chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and former home minister, will not appear at the Kathmandu District Court on Friday as previously expected. The Kaski District Court Judge Nitij Rai freed Lamichhane on a bail of Rs 6.5 million in the case involving organized crime and money laundering. Lamichhane was released from custody on Thursday after paying the bail amount. According to sources, despite initially planning to appear before the Kathmandu District Court on Friday, he will now appear before the court on Sunday.
