South Korea has sought to employ 7,200 Nepali workers in 2026 under the Employment Permit System (EPS) system.

Installation of 46 transmission towers under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact has been completed along the New Butwal Substation and Nepal–India border transmission line section.

Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has announced that he is returning to Nepal after months abroad for medical treatment, saying the country needs cooperation and national unity rather than the politics of retaliation.

The body was discovered at around 11 am on July 19 in Room 404 of the Mountain Excellsiva Hotel in Mitranagar, Gongabu, Ward 26 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, after police received information about the incident.

The anti-graft body registered the case at the Special Court, seeking Rs 17.1 million in alleged illicit assets. According to the CIAA, Adhikari received 13 annas of land from Prem Prakash Dhakal, the owner of Gayatri Nirman Sewa, forming the basis of the money laundering charge.

The decision was made at a meeting of the SAFF Executive Committee, which also appointed Bangladesh as the host nation.
