KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Nepali national cricket team batter Aarif Sheikh entered into married life on Thursday. The 26-year-old cricketer from Muli Naya Tole, Birgunj Metropolitan City-12, married Shabana Khatoon, following Muslim traditions.
Aarif recently played for Sudurpaschim Royals in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In the final, Sudurpashchim lost by five wickets to Janakpur Bolts, which his brother Asif Sheikh captained. Since joining the Nepali national team in 2014, Aarif has played national cricket for Nepal Police Club.

Taking to social media, his teammates Sandeep Lamichhane, Saheb Khan and others have congratulated him. Lamichhane’s Facebook post reads, “Congratulations to both of you on getting married! Wishing you endless love, joy and a lifetime of happiness together.”
