EC to depute voter education volunteers

KATHMANDU, May 9: The Election Commission (EC) is to depute voter education volunteers in polling stations itself from May 11 to 13 to conduct voter education programs.

KATHMANDU, May 9: The Election Commission (EC) is to depute voter education volunteers in polling stations itself from May 11 to 13 to conduct voter education programs. 


Voter education workers/volunteers are asked to compulsorily be there at all polling stations fixed for the May 14 local-level elections to be held in 34 districts, according to EC Spokesperson Surya Prasad Sharma.

They will reach to the polling stations with sample ballots and impart knowledge on a right process for voting to those voters to be there for collecting identity cards. 


The EC has planned to distribute voter identity cards from all polling stations on May 11-13. RSS
