The meeting held at the residence of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba suggested the volunteers to build huts keeping elderly persons and families with new mothers in priority, said Chief of NC Publicity Department, Min Bishwokarma.

On the occasion, NC Vice-President and Defence Minister, Purna Bahadur Khadka and General-Secretary, Gagan Kumar Thapa, who recently carried out onsite visit of quake-hit areas, briefed about the situation of the quake-hit areas.

Bishwokarma shared that the party is sending 25 teams with 10 members each comprising engineers, overseers associated to NC, Nepal Students Union and Nepal Tarun Dal. It is done to address the lack of human resources to build temporary huts in the quake-hit areas.
