KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Six youths from various fields were honored with the 'Youth Sustainability Promotion Award-2081 BS' on Thursday in Pokhara for their significant contributions.
The award ceremony took place during the 10th Nepal Youth Convention organized by the Nepal Youth Network for Sustainable Development.

The awardees included adventurous mountaineer Purnima Shrestha, foreign affairs journalist Jagdishor Pandey, youth expert Jagdish Aiyer, inclusive educationalist Deepak P Basyal, investigative journalist Suman Dhungana, and social entrepreneur Devi P Devkota.
Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives of Gandaki Province, Padma GC Shrestha, Vice-Chairman of the Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission, Dr Krishna Chandra Devkota, Nepal Youth Network for Sustainable Development Chairman Saurabh Khanal, and the founding chairman of the organization and award selection committee coordinator, Amrit Devkota, presented the awards.
