KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Former CPN-UML vice chairman Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from the party recently, has accused Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of attempting to hand over forest and national park land to the land mafia. Rawal made such allegations while expressing his views on social media on Tuesday.
“Prime Minister KP Oli’s ordinance system is bringing an ordinance related to land, forests and parks which is creating a scheme to hand over even the land of forests and national parks to individuals,” Rawal wrote, “Is it a game to give away the land of protected areas, which were created even during the Panchayat system for the conservation of natural resources, to fulfill the interests of the land mafia?”
