KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Former CPN-UML Vice-Chair Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from the party recently, has accused UML Chairman KP Oli of treating him like an enemy. Rawal made the statement during a press conference on Wednesday.
"KP Oli treated me like an enemy. Despite this, I did not quit the party," Rawal said. "I held no grudges and had no ambitions for any position."
Rawal also claimed that the formation of a negotiation team with him was merely an attempt to create an illusion. He mentioned that although there was an initial discussion, Oli repeatedly refused to meet him for further talks despite Rawal’s repeated requests.

"Doesn't this confirm KP Oli's arrogance, vindictiveness, exclusionary attitude, prejudice and intolerance?" Rawal asked. "And, now they are claiming that Bhim Rawal was not in contact with the party."
Rawal questions Oli on membership and chairperson candidacy
Rawal claimed that CPN-UML revoked his membership solely because he ran for the position of chairperson.
"Do I need to explain why I ran for the chairperson position?" Rawal asked UML Chairperson Oli. "Can you even revoke my membership?"
He further questioned, "If running for chairperson results in action, why did you allow competition with Jhalanath Khanal and Madhav Nepal earlier?"
