Cricketers Dipendra and Kushal depart for UAE

The all-rounder duo flew to the UAE on Friday. Dipendra is associated with the Gulf Giants, while Kushal is with the Desert Vipers in the IL T20.

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Nepali national cricket team members Dipendra Singh Airee and Kushal Malla have left for the UAE to play in the International T20 League (IL T20).


The all-rounder duo flew to the UAE on Friday. Dipendra is associated with the Gulf Giants, while Kushal is with the Desert Vipers in the IL T20. Both teams have their first match on Sunday. Dipendra's team will face the Sharjah Warriors, and Kushal's team will play against the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.

Dipendra, who was signed for the last edition but did not play any matches, is expected to be included in the starting lineup for the Gulf Giants in their first match this time. This will be Kushal's first participation in the tournament.
