Parties, leaders or MPs should not exert pressure and influence probe into corruption: Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has said that the government will be ruthless in the matters of corruption. Addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he said that the government is firm in investigating corruption.

He said, "The government stands ruthlessly against corruption round the clock." Parliament should also maintain a file to investigate the cases of corruption.


He said that parliament should also be active in the investigation of past corruption cases. He said that political parties, leaders and parliamentarians should not exert pressure or try to influence any investigation into corruption.
