Madhav Prasad Bhattarai, a local of Shaligram-5, Hanumandanda who languished in a fragile hut for 16 months after earthquake, had initiated the construction of a new home but could not make his way due to water shortage.

He shared the nearby sources of water turned dry after couples of days of the earthquake.

"There was very limited water bubbled up in the source till the foundation was laid", Bhattarai said, adding now the construction work is completely halted for no availability of water.

There are many quake victims like Bhattarai in the district who have been facing water crisis and subsequent problems.
