HETAUDA, Oct 5: Police have detained two Indian nationals from Hetauda with 8 kg 243 grams and 970 milligram of gold on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, police found the gold during a check at Ratomate checkpoint in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15 on the east-west road section, at 3 AM on Saturday. The gold was discovered in a scooter (BA Pra 02-047-Pa-7503) that was traveling from Pathalaiya to Hetauda.
Three Indian nationals arrested with weapons
The arrested individuals have been identified as Abhishek Ajinath Kuti, 25, and Rahul Bhittihal Bada, 27, from Sangli, Maharashtra, India, as reported by Makwanpur District Police Office.
According to the police, the estimated value of the confiscated gold is Rs 114.375 million.
