KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Photo Journalist Club Nepal has urged Presidential Office to make the environment to cover the photos of programs in office of President. 


The Photo Journalist Club, Nepal issuing a press release stated that, “President’s Office has frequently discriminated and shutdoors to photo journalist to capture the snaps of the programs held at Presidential Office, Sheetal Niwas.”

Photo journalists from private media outlets were barred to enter the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas and to capture the swearing in ceremony of provincial chiefs on January 19. 


The club has made concerned that, if the office of President wouldn’t address such appeal, photo journalist will keep on boycotting any programs at President Office. 


The club denounced the discriminative activities from the Presidential Office citing it as against the free press, freedom of expression and right to information of the public.
