One mountain-climbing tourist guide goes missing

MYGDI, May 23: One Nepali tourist guide has gone missing since Sunday evening from the part of Mount Everest situated at an altitude of 8167 meter.

MYGDI, May 23: One Nepali tourist guide has gone missing since Sunday evening from the part of Mount Everest situated at an altitude of 8167 meter.


He has been identified as Angnima Sherpa, 30, a local of Chaurikharka-3 of Solukhumbu district.

Sherpa was serving as a tourist guide of the team of mountain -climbing tourists belonging to Indian Air Force who came to Nepal to scale Mount Everest.


Sherpa is out of contact since Sunday evening, Deputy Superintendent of Police Basundhara Khanal told Republica Online. According to him, a search for him is underway.
