POKHARA, June 25: One more person has died of Covid-19 infection in Syangja.
A 55-year-old male from Sirubari of Syangja, who was undergoing treatment for this viral infection at Western Regional Hospital under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences in Pokhara, passed away on Wednesday night at 11:30 pm.

According to Dr Arjun Acharya, the director at the hospital, the man was kept at the ICU ward three days ago after his health condition kept on deteriorating. He was also suffering from pneumonia and diabetes, according to Dr Acharya.
Gandaki Province so far has reported two cases of fatality due to Covid-19 infection. Earlier, another 60-year-old man from Waling Municipality-3 of Syangja had died on June 8.
