BARDIYA, Jan 7: A motorcycle accident in Bardiya has claimed the life of 19-year-old Topendra Budha from Rajapur Municipality-6. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle with registration number Bhe 13 Pa 4303 lost control and crashed at Gammaka Chowk, Madhuban Municipality-4, while traveling from Gulariya to Rajapur.

According to the police, Budha, a pillion rider, was rushed for treatment at Bardiya Hospital but declared dead on arrival. The motorcycle driver, 34-year-old Chhatra Bahadur Bista from Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-1, Banke, sustained injuries and was transferred to a hospital in Banke for further treatment.
