Two siblings found dead inside their home in Salyan

Police on Wednesday morning found two children dead inside their home in Salyan. Information Officer at the District Police Office, Salyan, Ramesh Kshetri, identified the deceased as 3-year-old Karishma Rana and her 6-month-old sister, Raghabi Rana, from Sisnepalat village in Bangad Kupinde Municipality-11.

SALYAN, Jan 8: Police on Wednesday morning found two children dead inside their home in Salyan. Information Officer at the District Police Office, Salyan, Ramesh Kshetri, identified the deceased as 3-year-old Karishma Rana and her 6-month-old sister, Raghabi Rana, from Sisnepalat village in Bangad Kupinde Municipality-11.


He stated that their father Tekman Rana is currently outside the district for employment while their mother, Purnima Rana, was at home at the time of the incident. However, further details about the incident remain unclear. Kshetri described the incident as suspicious since the children, who had no known health issues, were found dead.

"The incident is indeed suspicious, and the nearby police have secured the scene,” said Kshetri, adding that they will disclose further information only after the investigation.
