KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Of the total 13,455 COVID-19 tests conducted on Wednesday, 1,640 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19., according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Similarly, Nepal recorded 2,131 recoveries and 10 deaths on Monday.

According to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 1,247 PCR and 293 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 case tally has reached 859,535.
There are currently 29,479 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 27,690 are in home isolation, 1,789 in institutional isolation, 488 in ICUs and 140 on ventilators.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu valley recorded 568 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. Of them, 349 were recorded in Kathmandu, 69 in Bhaktapur and 150 in Lalitpur districts.
