KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Nepal recorded 1,948 new cases, 3,140 recoveries and 28 deaths linked with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past one day.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,948 new cases of COVID-19 were detected through 9,210 PCR tests conducted at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

Nepal has reported a total of 226,026 coronavirus infections as of Wednesday.
The country has now a total of 16,639 active cases of the coronavirus. As many as 207,998 people who earlier tested positive for the virus have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Altogether, 1,398 people, including 28 in the past one day, have succumbed to COVID-19 across Nepal so far, the ministry said in its daily COVID-19 updates on Wednesday.
