BAGLUNG, August 26: The service recipients in the local levels of Baglung district have been bearing the brunt of less number of employees.
The people expecting quick and smooth service delivery with the conduct of the local levels election have been despair for lack of the sufficient employees.

A secretary in a municipality is looking after the activities of five wards, which has badly slowed the service delivery.
There are no administrative and technical employees nor have the office assistants in many local levels. It has resulted in the problems on implementation of the policy and programmes formulated by the local levels.
Dhorpatan municipality is suffering most with the lack of employees, said secretary Kamal Prasad Kandel, adding that he has been assigned the responsibility for handling the activities of Ward No 5, 6, 7 8 and 9 in the municipality.
According to him, there are nine posts allocated at the municipality office, but there are no engineer, sub engineer, computer engineer and office assistants, informed executive officer Ram Prasad Acharya.
Even Tamankhola rural municipality has the similar problem. Chairman of the rural municipality Joklal Budha informed that it has been difficult to deliver services to people for lack of employees.
"The service recipients are retuned empty handed," he added.
