KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Chief Minister of Karnali province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has urged the federal government to manage necessary employees for the local levels at the earliest.

Speaking at a program organized in the capital on Friday, CM Shahi reiterated that the government should deploy the civil servants at the local levels as soon as possible for the improved public service delivery. He also blamed the government for not being sincere in addressing the issue.

On a different note, CM Shahi opined that the country can move forward in the right direction only if there is coordination among the three tiers of government. “However, it is a matter of concern that the federal government behaves as if there existed no provincial and local authorities,” argued Shahi.

He further stressed the need for early formation of required administrative structures.
