KATHMANDU, Aug 24: The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has appealed all to organise various programs for a week marking the 13th national day against human trafficking and transportation.
The national day against human trafficking and transportation is being observed on September 6 with a week-long program involving various government and non-government organizations, civil society and stakeholders, said Rudra Devi Sharma, joint secretary at the Ministry.

"Government commitment: our collective committee for combating human trafficking and smuggling" is the major slogan for this year.
September 6 is observed as the national day against human trafficking marking the endorsement of the SAARC Convention against trafficking of women and girls, 2002 by the parliament on the day in 2063 B.S.
