Shree Airlines plane that took off for Dhangadi returns to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, June 25: An aircraft of Shree Airlines, which was en route from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to Dhangadhi, had to return to Kathmandu on Sunday morning due to an issue on board.

KATHMANDU, June 25: An aircraft of Shree Airlines, which was en route from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to Dhangadhi, had to return to Kathmandu on Sunday morning due to an issue on board.


According to Teknath Sitaula, spokesperson for TIA, the flight took off at 7:50AM. However, the aircraft experienced a pressurization problem, prompting its return to Kathmandu. The plane safely landed at Kathmandu airport at 8:20AM with 79 passengers on board.

Preparations are underway to arrange another aircraft for the passengers to be sent to Dhangadhi.
