NEPALGUNJ, August 4: A Shree Airlines plane that had flown for Kathmandu has returned to Nepalgunj after smoke billowed from the engine. The aircraft with the call sign 9N-ANF-432 made an emergency landing after smoke started to appear inside the plane.
Parsuram Chaudhary, Nepalgunj Station Head of Shree Airlines, shared that the plane, which took off at 9:30 AM on Thursday morning, made an emergency landing after a puff of smoke suddenly came out from the engine. He said that the plane made an emergency landing about 7 minutes after taking off from the Nepalgunj airport.

The plane had flown 10 miles before it returned and made an emergency landing.
The aircraft took off at 9:30 AM on Thursday with 79 passengers and four crew members on board.
All passengers on board have been evacuated safely and the aircraft is now parked. Chaudhary said that the reason will be known only after a team with technical personnel comes from Kathmandu and checks the aircraft.
