KATHMANDU, April 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and famous Brazilian football player Roberto Carlos met at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today.


World Cup winner Roberto Carlos has come to Kathmandu to watch the third season of the Nepal Super League (NSL). On this occasion, PM Oli welcomed Carlos, stating that his visit would inspire local players and youth in Nepal.

PM Oli highlighted the strong diplomatic relations between Nepal and Brazil, emphasizing the need for both countries' sports sectors to engage in mutual learning and exchange.


PM Oli invited player Carlos to visit Nepal again, suggesting a trip that includes a ‘Mountain Flight’ and jungle safari. Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Carlos stated that he was happy to meet Nepal's Prime Minister, youth, and athletes.
