Reconstruction task of Patan Museum begins

LALITPUR, Aug 28: Reconstruction of the Patan Museum damaged by Gorkha earthquake has begun.

LALITPUR, Aug 28: Reconstruction of the Patan Museum damaged by Gorkha earthquake has begun. 



Museum Chief, Suresh Lakhe, said that the Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust has started repair and maintenance task of the museum. He said that the reconstruction task is expected to be completed in around two years. 



Lakhe said, "We are working to bring the damaged infrastructure of Museum in previous shape after carrying out the require repair and maintenance task." 



According to the Museum records, the number of tourists visiting the Museum has gone down after the Gorkha earthquake. RSS
