Rautahat CCI convention adjourned over candidate’s death

RAUTAHAT, Feb 4: The convention of Rautahat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), scheduled for today has been adjourned over the untimely demise of the RCCI member Shree Prakash Thakur.

RAUTAHAT, Feb 4: The convention of Rautahat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), scheduled for today has been adjourned over the untimely demise of candidate Shree Prakash Thakur.


Thakur was contesting for the post of RCCI member. 


 Thakur died after he fell off a ladder. According to DSP Nabin Krishna Bhandari  thakur died of heart attack.

Thakur, who was rushed to District Hospital Gaur for treatment, was pronounced dead in the course of treatment.


Pandit Jaiswal, a contestant for the post of chairman of the RCCI, said that the convention has been postponed due to the death of Thakur.
