LOS ANGELES, June 27: The sound went mute in the middle of the show. This is a great disaster for a show that relies so heavy on technology.

The connection between the musician and the audience was cut off. But, the show went on here at the Barnum Hall. The audience kept the show alive.

The entire audience took the role of harmonizing the song and they continued till the sound system got back.

The Nepathya band and the musicians were extremely touched by this gesture of the Los Angeles crowd gathered to enjoy the evening.

This technical glitch took place, when the band was performing ‘Gaun Gaun bata.’.

The audio system went off, but the audience covered it up by continuing to sing along. They kept on singing for almost 3 minutes without music.

By then the technicians had solved the problem and the music took over.

Upon completion of the show, Amrit Gurung the frontman of Nepathya, expressed his gratitude through his Facebook post: "We are indebted to all our well wishers and audience. We are humbled to receive such loving gesture during the technical breakdown at our Los Angeles show. Thank  you. Your love is the greatest asset we have earned..."

Nepathya had picked this Ralpha era song created by Shyam Tamot for performance during their peace concert tour during Nepal's conflict times.

Since then this Nepathya rendition of the classic hit has been an inseparable part of the Nepathya show. The thumping beat brings everyone to their toes and they start jumping and singing with Amrit as he gets into his signature electric mood.

Nepathya’s LA show had kicked off at 8:40 with their Langtang special – Bhedako Oon. The evening then cruised through for almost two hours with Nepathya’s earthy Nepali music.

The show in Los Angeles was organized by Friends of Nepal.

With this show in LA, Nepathya moves on to Atlanta to perform at the Center Sage on the 2nd of July. The show is organized as part of the ANA convention 2016.
