KATHMANDU, Sept 13: As part of the video release series during the Nepathya Silver Jubilee year, the September release comes with a simple lyric video of a song from Nepathya's 9th album – ‘Aaina Jhyaal’.
The composition and lyrics of this song, Mai Mari Jaaunla... is based on a melody from the Langtang region, where Nepathya' s classic hit Bhedako Oon Jasto also originated from.
This is Nepathya's 8th independent YouTube release since it started its official Channel -YouTube.com/nepathyaofficial. All songs released so far have been well received.
"YouTube has democratized the musician’s access to their listeners", said Kiran Krishna Shrestha of nepa~laya. "For all new and old artists, this is turning out to be a medium where they can exercise their connection with the listeners independently, ending the dependency of traditional mediums", he added.

‘Mai Mari Jaunla’ is composed in a Tamang Selo rhythm and covers the story of people separated by migrant labor culture, some of whom never make it alive to meet their loved ones again.
"Mai Mari Jaunla… Jeevan Choto Cha
Lekheko Samjhana… Chyatera Nafala
Siranma Photo Cha…..."
The presented video is a simple lyric video, which has been catching trend. With simple comic art in the background, the text moves to follow the lyrics.
"We have been releasing 10 songs on an average per album" shared Nepathya front-man Amrit Gurung. "Traditionally, only few lucky numbers witness popularity and the rest goes unnoticed. This song remains of such fate. I am glad it is being rereleased through YouTube" he added.
The song is released as Nepathya is back from their Australia New Zealand Tour. "With this release, our visual team at Kathaharu is already working on our next release," shared Kiran of nepa~laya. "For the next release, we will present a fresh song from Nepathya's yet to be released 10th album", he added.
