SYNGJA, May 16: Nepali Congress has lost to CPN- UML in the local level elections held in Fedikhola Rural Municipality(RM) on May 14.
UML RM chief candidate Ghana Shyam Subedi has defeated his closest opponent Tara Pati Subedi representing CPN-UML with a significant margin of 295 votes.

Ghana Shyam Subedi secured 788 votes, compared to 489 votes for Tara Pati Subedi.
Likewise, UML deputy RM chief candidate Devi Thapa Chhetri has defeated his closest opponent Nanda Kumari Gurung with a margin of 64 votes.
Chhetri secured 577 votes, compared with 513 votes for Gurung.
