SYNGJA , May 17: CPN-UML has won the election in three rural municipalities in Syangja district –Phedikhola, Andhikhola and Harinas Rural Municipalities.
UML candidate Ghanashyam Subedi has won the race for chief of Phedikhola Rural Municipality in Syngja with 3806 votes, compared to 2046 votes for his closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Tarapati Subedi.
Five women mayor and deputy mayors to lead Syangja towns
Likewise, UML candidate Sudhir Paudel has won the race for chief of Andhikhola Rural Municipality in Syngja with 5041 votes, compared to 3076 votes for his closest rival NC candidate Pradip Paudel.
Likewise, UML candidate Sharmila Paudel has won the race for deputy chief with 5085 votes, 2062 votes for her closest rival NC candidate Gita Chapagain.
In addition, UML candidate Khim Narayan Manandhar has won the race for chief of Harinas Rural Municipality in Syngja with 3808 votes, compared to 2832 votes for his closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Dev Kumar Manandhar.
