Minister Pathak accused Balen of failing to gather sufficient evidence to take action against the Chief Administrative Officer, hiding the investigation committee's report, and even not allowing the incumbent Chief Administrative Officer to enter the KMC office.

Taking to social media, Pathak wrote, “What is your attitude, Balen? We are also working from an executive position. No one is above rules, laws, and procedures, and you are not either. Those who can't even spend a quarter of the capital expenditure have no right to speak loudly. Keep in mind, brother, that others can also make loud statements like you.”
