KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Police have released four suspects arrested on the charge of murdering Babita Gautam of Kushma Municipality a couple of weeks ago on bail.
Babita was found dead at her own room on August 21.

After her parents filed a complaint stating that she was murdered by her in-laws, police arrested the victim's husband Krishna Prasad Gautam, father-in-law Imnath Gautam, mother-in-law Bishnu Sharma and sister-in-law Laxmi. However, they were all were released after posting a bail of Rs 100,000 each.
District Court Judge Surya Bahadur Thapa issued an order to release them on bail and proceed with the investigation. Babita was found hanging at her home. Though her in-laws claimed that she committed suicide, the victim's parents claimed that it was a murder.
Babita and Krishna had tied the knot on June 21. He had returned from South Korea just before their marriage after working there for a few years. As the victim was found dead just two months after her marriage, her parents accused her in-laws of plotting her murder.
