Let it rain!

By No Author
When I was a kid, I hated rain
The massive thunderstorms brought
Mere flashes of pain
The sound of thunder brought me to tearsLots of terror
And lots of fear
As darker and darker the sky grew
I wish I didn't have to see that view
These days it's not the same
I love the rain
And watch them cleanse my window pane
But I want it to shower my face –
The big drops, and the tiny droplets
Oh the feelings it brings to me
I feel the nature very close to me.
Now I love everything
About the rain
The way it washes –
The dust and the stain
The sorrow and the pain
Look at the change
Time brings about
'Let it rain!'
Now I scream my lungs out.
