I will make Kathmandu equal for all: Mayoral candidate Singh

Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayoral candidate on behalf of the ruling alliance, Sirjana Singh has expressed her commitment to make Kathmandu Metropolis a city equal for all.


Speaking at the coalition’s election rally in Kathmandu on Friday, she said that she would spare no effort to make Kathmandu as imagined by the metropolis’s residents. “I will make Kathmandu as imagined by the people here. I will make Kathmandu equal for all,” said Singh.

She said that Kathmandu will be made clean, beautiful and safe. Singh also said that solving the issues related to senior citizens, education, sports infrastructure and operation of clubs, processions, festivals, guthis and heritage protection were on her agenda.


She also said that the rivers within the Valley are symbols of civilization and that efforts will be made for the protection and management of the three rivers in the Valley. She also said that women-friendly toilets and free clean drinking water will be provided at certain places.
