Health workers from Chitwan to reach out to storm survivors

BHARATPUR, April 1: A team comprising doctors and health workers will be dispatched to the districts hit by a massive storm killing at least 27 people and injuring scores others, said Chitwan district administration office.

Preparations were underway to send the 35-member team from Chitwan Medical College alongside medicines, said chief district officer Jitendra Basnet. Homework was underway to send health workers' teams from other hospitals as well, he added. 


A blood donation program has been organised at Bharatpur to supply blood to those injured in the disaster.
