Government condemns DPRK's nuclear test

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: The government has condemned the nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on September 9, defying the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the calls of the international community.

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: The government has condemned the nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on September 9, defying the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the calls of the international community. 


In line with its consistent policy of general and complete disarmament of all weapons of mass destruction, Nepal stands against such tests, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today in a press statement.

Calling upon the Government of the DPRK to refrain from such acts, the statement adds "Nepal wishes to see peace and stability on the Korean peninsula." RSS
