KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The election to the post of vice chairman of the National Assembly is scheduled for February 6.

National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina announced the date of the election in the meeting of the National Assembly on Friday.
Timilsina also directed Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, the Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament Secretariat to publish the information about the vice chairman election. In the National Assembly, Education Minister Shishir Khanal submitted a proposal that the Nepal University Bill 2079 BS received from the House of Representatives be sent to the Legislative Management Committee for quarterly discussion.
