DPM Mahara extends his wishes for Vijaya Dashami

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara has extended hearty best wishes to all the Nepali sisters and brothers within the country and outside on the occasion of the Bada Dashain festival and upcoming festivals Tihar, Chhath and Nepal Sambat 2073 BS.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara has extended hearty best wishes to all the Nepali sisters and brothers within the country and outside on the occasion of the Bada Dashain festival and upcoming festivals Tihar, Chhath and Nepal Sambat 2073 BS. 


In a message on the occasion of the Vijaya Dashami today, DPM Mahara has stated that our festivals, which symbolize the unity in diversity and the nation as the common garden of all castes and creeds, have made a significant contribution to uniting the geographical, religious, racial, cultural and linguistic diversity and maintaining social amity, national unity and the common Nepali identity.

Stating that Nepal is a country comprising various castes, ethnicities, multiple languages and cultures, DPM Mahara argued that festival like Bijaya Dashami has helped further consolidated the mutual unity and communal amity. 


His statement further added, "We are in the process of implementing the constitution as soon as possible. We also are aware that the elections should be held within the stated time. And for now, our main responsibility is to provide relief funds to the needy people affected by the devastating earthquake. The unity and co-operation among us inspires us to achieve these goals with much efficiency."
