KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol by Rs 2 per liter and diesel by Rs 3 per liter.
With the adjusted price, petrol per litre will now cost Rs 162 for the first category while Rs 164 for the second category and Rs 165 for the third category. Similarly, the adjusted price of diesel per litre is Rs 153 for the first category, Rs 155 for the second category and Rs 156 for the third category.

The adjustment in the price of petroleum products was based on the new tariff provided by the Indian Oil Corporation. According to the NOC, the new price rates will come into effect by Wednesday midnight.
