KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products. A meeting of the NOC's Board of Directors has increased the price of petrol by Re 1 per liter and that of diesel and kerosene by Rs 4 per liter effective from Wednesday.
With the price adjustment, petrol will now cost Rs 156.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 158 per liter in the second category, and Rs 159 per liter in the third category.

Similarly, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 148.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 150 per liter in the second category, and Rs 151 per liter in the third category.
The NOC has classified Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwasi, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj under the first category, Surkhet, and Dang under the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots under the third category.
