KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Two matches are scheduled for Saturday under the Nepal Premier League (NPL), but persistent rainfall in Kathmandu could disrupt both fixtures at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
In the first match, Chitwan Rhinos are scheduled to take on Lumbini Lions at 12:30 pm. The second match will see Biratnagar Kings face Sudurpaschim Royals at 5 pm.

Rain that began on Thursday night continued throughout Friday and persisted on Saturday morning. However, weather conditions are forecast to improve later in the afternoon.
If the rain does not stop, the start of the matches could be delayed or the number of overs reduced. If play cannot take place at all, both teams will share one point each.
Under NPL rules, at least five overs must be bowled to each side for a match to produce a result.
The NPL does not have a reserve day for matches abandoned due to rain. As a result, the fate of Saturday's two fixtures will depend on the weather and the condition of the ground.
