KATHMANDU, March 30: A person has died and two others injured in a vehicle accident in Nagarjun Municipality-8, Kathmandu on Saturday night.
The vehicle (Pra 3-01-024 Cha 8322) carrying goats met with an accident as it fell 400 meters off the road, leading to the fatality. The vehicle was traveling from Dhading to Kathmandu when it crashed while attempting to give way to another vehicle.

According to the Kathmandu District Police Range, the deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Gokul Pandey from Bhimsen-4, Gorkha. The driver of the vehicle, Jamaluddin MiYa, 41, and Ramji Bhatta,43, from Gorkha, were injured in the accident.
MiYa is receiving treatment at Manmohan Hospital, while Bhatta is being treated at Bhimdhunga Medical Center. Further investigation into the accident is currently underway, police added.
