RUKUM EAST, August 13: Five police personnel including two Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) were injured when a vehicle of the Nepal Police met with an accident in Rukum (East) today.


The injured include Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Nepal Police, Prakash Dangi, and Deputy Superintendent of Police of Armed Police Force, Rabindra Shrestha and other security personnel.

The accident took place when the vehicle fell some 100 meters off the road at Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-11 when it was heading towards Taksera of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality from Rukumkot, said Chairperson of Ward No 5 of the Uttarganga Rural Municipality Tikasai Gharti.


A team of police personnel has headed towards the incident site, said Information Officer at the District Police Office, Police Inspector Krishna Khatri.
