DOLAKHA, April 10: A person among those critically injured in Dolakha road mishap on Monday morning has breathed his last while undergoing treatment atTrauma Center, Kathmandu.
The deceased is Armed Police Force (APF) head constable Mohan Bahadur Ghimire. The doctor pronounced him dead as soon as he was rushed to the Center.
Three people including APF DSP were critically injured after their vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Kalinchowk Rural Municipality-7 along the Dolakha-Singati road section in the district on Monday morning.
Four dead, 18 injured in Dolakha road mishap
The injured were DSP Shambhu Jung Thapa, incharge of Upper Tamakoshi Hydro Project Security Base, driver Mohan Bahadur Ghimire, and body guard Shiva Kushuwar Majhi.
The accident took place as the HILUX Jeep, Ba 9 Cha 9360, heading to district headquarters Charikot from Lamabagar skidded off and fell some 250 meters down the road at Jhamarsi along the Dolakha-Singati road section this morning, District Administration Office, Dolakha told Republica Online.
DSP Thapa has received injuries to his neck and head while the driver was rendered unconscious.
Upper Tamakoshi Hydro Project airlifted the injured to Kathmandu for treatment.
The condition of DSP Thapa is said to be critical.
