KATHMANDU, Dec 12: As many as five people, including the driver, have died in a vehicle accident on the Birakhola-Kaina-Katke road section of Nalagad Municipality-3 in Jajarkot. Two others were injured in the incident. After the accident, the injured were rescued and rushed to the hospital.
Doctors declared five individuals dead immediately after they were brought to the hospital. The victims of the accident included 31-year-old Indrajit Thapa, the driver from Nalagad Municipality-3 Karuwa, 64-year-old Shila Pun, 32-year-old Sharda Thapa, 17-year-old Laxmi Pun Roka, and her one-month-old son.
Five including two DSPs injured in road mishap
Among the injured, Jeewan BK has returned home after receiving basic treatment. Another injured, Janak Thapa, is currently undergoing treatment.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Purushottam Prasad Pandey, the Bolero pickup suffered the accident around 11 pm last night. The pickup was traveling from Kalimat, Nalagad Municipality-5 towards Katke, Ward-3, in Jajarkot.
