KAILALI, Jan 31: Two people died in a road accident that took place on the Pahalmanpur road section of Kailali along the East-West Highway on Saturday night.
The accident took place when a tractor (Ma 1 Ta 542) collided with a motorcycle (Ba 1 Pa 404) coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased have been identified as the motorcycle riders Govinda Budha,23, and Man Bahadur Budha,18, of Ghodaghodi Municipality-10, Kailali, according to spokesperson for the District Police Office, Pratik Bista. Severely injured in the accident, both breathed their last on Saturday night itself during treatment at the Ghodaghodi Hospital.
Meanwhile, police took the tractor driver into custody for further investigation.
