HETAUDA, May 26: Three people of Makawanpur, who dumped their journalism jobs for the May 14 elections, have been elected as people's representatives.

Former journalist Sabin Neupane from Nepali Congress ticket won ward chairperson in Hetauda-1 from Nepali while his counterparts Nabin Sigdel and Devraj Rima, both from CPN-UML emerged victorious to the post of ward chairperson in Hetauda-1 and to ward member in Hetauda-7 respectively. 


Neupane was vice president of Makawanpur branch of Press Union and Chairman of Reporter's Club, Makawanpur. Likewise, Sigdel was editor of local newspaper 'Hetauda Today' and Rimal was former central vice chairman of Press Chautari Nepal. RSS
